Lake Waco Dam Hike and Bike Trail is a multi-use trail near Waco that provides nearly three miles of space for hiking and biking. Ample parking is available off Airport Road so that you can visit from anywhere else in the community. The trail is open all year round from one hour before sunrise until one hour before sunset. Woodway Lakeside Park is one of several parks operated by the City of Woodway. Woodway Lakeside Park, formerly called Woodway Park 2, is the most popular for hikers. Open from 5 a.m. through 10:30 p.m. every day, Woodway Lakeside Park is notable for its beautiful views of Lake Waco. The hike and bike trails are very well-kept and clearly marked. You can also enjoy other activities, such as the 18-hole disc golf course. Around the area, you'll find more than six miles of nature trails ideal for your choice of either hiking or biking.
